I am seeking representation for my non-fiction book That Damn German Language! This project blends witty cultural commentary with playful linguistic exploration, in the spirit of Bill Bryson’s Mother Tongue and Mark Forsyth’s The Etymologicon.
The book takes readers on a lighthearted journey through the quirks of German, explained in English with humour and warmth.
Market Research
Just about everything there is to find out about the market for books on German and Germany without being a marketing agency.
The Story behind the Story
This book draws on the knowledge the author gathered in over ten years of journalism, twenty-nine years as a copywriter in and for advertising agencies, and nine years as a German tutor. Click here for more details.
